DUDE’S TAKEN is a half American, half Australian alt-rock band playing out of Newcastle, NSW and bringing a new wave of pop-punk and indie rock to Australia’s live music scene. They take inspiration from some of their favorite bands such as My Chemical Romance, MUSE, Cage the Elephant, and Silverchair.

In a short period of time the band has come together and built a discography distinctly their own. They use catchy riffs that capture the feeling of moving fast and pair them with pop-punk themed lyrics dripping with emotional depth and surreal visuals to create a sound that is unmistakably DUDE’S TAKEN.

Their debut EP, Never features two explosive tracks; Never and Crashing Down, and one more melodic track; Let Go. The EP is just a small, first glimpse of their full, high energy Live in Studio EP coming soon.

DUDE’S TAKEN isn’t just nostalgia. Though emo and indie at it’s core and pop-punk in volume, the band creates a sound built from an older generation for the new generation of rock fans.
