DUDE’S TAKEN is an Alt. Rock band bringing a new wave of pop-punk from the Gulf Coast. The band, now based in Newcastle, NSW, takes inspiration from some of their favorite bands such as My Chemical Romance, MUSE, Cage the Elephant, and Silverchair.

What started with lead guitarist, Collin McKisick, and vocalist, Ryan Remington, just jamming on solo projects together quickly grew into a defined project. In a short period of time they have come together and built a distinctly their own. They use catchy riffs, emotional pulls, and storytelling to create a sound that is unmistakably DUDE’S TAKEN.

The band is best described through their earworm riffs and killer solos that capture the feeling of moving fast and pair with lyrics that embody and express powerful emotions with their melodies, Dude’s Taken does it all seamlessly. Their upcoming debut EP, Never, features two explosive tracks; Never and Crashing Down, and one slower melodic track; Let Go. The EP is just a small, first glimpse for their first full length album.

DUDE’S TAKEN isn’t just nostalgia. Though emo and indie at it’s core and pop-punk in volume, the band creates a sound built from an older generation for the new generation of rock fans.
